Although we look sleepy on the outside our clients and their projects are everything but that. As unique to themselves as we are they are often best described as expert connoisseurs, aficionados, readers of the Robb Report, collectors, ever present at The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Show always looking for that odd, old and new item with entrepreneurial spirit.
Ted shares this passion and has won numerous awards specializing in custom motorcycle, auto, and vintage restoration.
His old friends remember Ted Tine as the boy who would take any dare. His Italian 10 speed had a busted chain, but that was no problem for young Ted. Living on top of "road rash hill", Ted had the gumption to attempt a 40 mph descent. Stuffing one of his Dad's old parachutes into a shoebox fastened to his chain-less Fiorelli, Ted engineered a plan. At top speed, he would pull the cover off the box, hoisting a fierce wheelie while while gliding to a chute controlled stop. Having kick started his daredevil dreams; Ted was soon
piloting a go kart and an Indian Chief inside the original "Motordrome" (Wall of Death). Later he would work with IMSA endurance racing teams such as Porsche, Lola, March, Mazda, and exotic Formula 1 programs such as Ferrari.
The spirit continues today here at Ted Tine Motorsports ... all enthusiasts young and old are welcome to stop by and say hello! ted@tedtine.com
